Job Description
We are looking for a Frontend Web Specialist / Developer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg.

The role requires someone to champion our front-end development and maintenance and grow with our rapidly expanding business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and building our various websites and digital platforms with a strong emphasis on delivering quality design. 

• Develop new user facing features
• Write reusable code and libraries
• Enhance application for maximum speed and scalability
• Validate input before submitting to back end
• Provide technical input in the design process of new client facing features
• Optimise loading speeds and capacity
• Debug pages and fix broken links or images
• Update website content and review SEO
• Online marketing and SEO skills advantageous
• Implement updates, upgrades, and patches in a timely manner to limit loss of service

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years web development experience with a reputable web design agency.
• HTML and HTML5, CSS3, JS and its libraries for basic UI design.
• Strong WordPress Frontend Development.
• Proven knowledge of Frontend frameworks like js, react.js is a plus.
• Proven knowledge of Bootstrap and similar front-end frameworks.
• Responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Mailer Development (Fully Responsive)
• Server side languages and frameworks like PHP, JS, ROR, Django, etc.
• Proven knowledge of both development and production environments.
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
