Syspro Specialist (Risk & Advisory Professionals!) at SRG Recruitment

• Are you a Risk & Advisory, Assurance or Internal Audit professional looking to move into a more hands-on IT and ERP systems environment?
• A leading manufacturing company based in Riverhorse Valley, Durban is looking for a motivated and analytical individual to join their team as a Syspro Specialist.
• This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has gained 1-2 years’ experience in Risk & Advisory role at an accounting / auditing firm and is now looking to develop a career within IT, ERP systems, and Syspro.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the day-to-day administration and support of the Syspro ERP system, ensuring data and system processes are accurate and maintained
• Assist users with Syspro-related queries, troubleshoot basic system issues, and escalate technical matters where required
• Monitor system processes, data integrity, and user access, identifying discrepancies and potential areas of risk
• Assist with system testing, reporting, process improvements, and the implementation of new Syspro functionality
• Work closely with Finance, Operations, Production, and other internal teams to ensure effective use of the system
• Assist with maintaining system documentation, procedures, and controls
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through better use of Syspro and technology
• Develop a strong understanding of the company's ERP environment with the opportunity to grow into a more specialised IT / Syspro role 

Requirements:

• Relevant Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, IT, Risk Management, Business, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience gained within Risk & Advisory, Internal Audit, Assurance, Controls, or a similar environment, preferably within a professional accounting / auditing firm
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail
• A genuine interest in IT, ERP systems and developing a career in Syspro

Advantageous:

• Previous exposure to Syspro or another ERP system
• Experience with systems testing controls, process improvement, or data analysis
