General Assistant at Tsebo Solution

• Are you a dedicated, dependable individual with a passion for service excellence? We are seeking a General Assistant to join our hospital catering team and contribute to creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Assist with food preparation, plating, and meal service in accordance with hospital standards
• Deliver meals to patients and support patient feeding services where required
• Ensure dining, kitchen, and service areas are clean, hygienic, and well-maintained
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to hygiene procedures
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock
• Adhere to food safety, infection control, and health & safety regulations at all times
• upport the catering team with daily operational requirements

Skills and Competencies    

• Knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, hardworking, and committed to delivering excellent service
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Qualifications    

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a hospitality, catering, housekeeping, cleaning, or general assistant role will be advantageous.
