General Manager: Pricing ,Planning, Reporting and Capability
The General Manager; Planning, Pricing & Reporting is the at the centre of the commercial planning & decision making that gets made within the Group Consumer function.
This role is the central coordinating role for all annual budgeting across the Group Consumer function as the top-down Group Aspirations are married to the Bottoms-Up OPCO reality.
All programs and KPIs that define the Annual Planning process is the responsibility of the GM: Pricing, Planning & Reporting. Aligned to Annual Budgeting, this role is then also responsible for the monthly performance tracking against that budget, and disseminating this information to the relevant stakeholders to take corrective action.
The final component of this role is that of managing the Pricing Strategy, frameworks and competencies across the group. In summary this role starts the budgeting process, tracks performance and then ensures that the most critical lever of pricing is used for value creation and not dilution
Education:
Minimum of 4 year tertiary Business/Commercial Degree
MBA or C.A. (Preferred)
Experience:
10 – 12 years of relevant work experience in a Commercial, Finance or Pricing role
Experience in Business Planning
Operating Company Experience is preferable
Experience working in a global/multinational enterprise (understanding emerging markets)
Senior management track record of at least 5 years
A Financial/ Deeply Analytical Experience base is critical
Experience in leading change / transformation
Having the ability to work X-Functionally and Integrate Information & People is key
