Graduate Analyst Programme

An exciting opportunity for an exceptional graduate to join Northstar, a specialist asset management business, for 6 months. The successful candidate will gain exposure to investment analysis and play a full part in the Northstar research process. The candidate will join a low hierarchy, highly collaborative investment team and have the opportunity to develop multiple skills and to gain valuable mentorship and experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• relevant post-graduate degree with strong record of achievement e.g. BBusSc, BCom (Hons)
• A sound technical foundation in valuation as well as strong Excel and Power Point skills
• A working knowledge of Bloomberg and S&P Capital IQ will be advantageous
• A natural curiosity about a range of subjects, combined with exceptional problem-solving ability
• Ability to structure and lead research projects, with strong report writing and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a proactive manner and to communicate within a team driven environment

The graduate analyst programme is run for a period of 6 months. While permanent employment is not guaranteed, exceptional candidates may be retained.
