Graduate Internship: Internal Audit (6 Months) at Sol Plaatje University

Job Description    

• This Graduate Internship programme aims to create temporary opportunities for unemployed South African Graduates (18 to 35) who have completed their studies.

• Certified copy of South African identity card
• Contact details of two academic referees. 
• Note: No full-time students will be considered for this programme

Position Specification    

• Basic computer skills such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
• Knowledge and understanding of Internal Audit Standards 
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to present and communicate information
• Detail orientation
• Desire and potential to learn
• Self-motivated
• Ability to deliver results on provided deadline and meet customer expectations.
• Planning, organising and analysing skills
• Ability to work well with people and under pressure

Minimum Requirements    

• An NQF level 6 qualification in Internal Auditing / Accounting / Risk Management/ Financial Management obtained from any South African university.
• With Accounting / Risk Management/ Financial Management the candidate must have Auditing as a subject preferably at third year level.
• South African citizen, between the ages of 18 to 35
• Applicants must unemployed and never participated in an internship.
• Applicants are restricted to applying for only three (3) positions.

Recommendations    

• Unemployed South African Graduates who are not undertaking any full-time studies.

• This programme will offer opportunities for graduates to gain useful university-based experience in a range of areas that can improve their readiness for employment and open career pathways that may not have been available without work experience.
