Leading the formulation and updating of the Metallurgy Strategy for all the Operations.
Managing technical controls and governance of the Metallurgy discipline across all Operations.
Providing consultancy services to the Metallurgy department.
Managing continuous coal processing efficiency improvement and cost reduction within the Metallurgy discipline.
Overseeing the constant flow of suitably qualified and experienced talent within the discipline through ensuring that development and exposure programs are in place.
Ensuring integrity of coal sampling, analyses and reporting of results.
Monitoring trends in the Metallurgy discipline.
Liaising with external stakeholders and representing the Company at relevant industry forums.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Tertiary qualification (NQF Level 7) in Metallurgy.
A business qualification will be an added advantage.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Surface Operations Manager role.
