    Head Digital Experience & eCommerce

     

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Driving and transforming the digital experience for our Reps, consultants and consumers across all touchpoints for both our market leading beauty Brands with the support of global development
    • Drive the growth agenda for the business through digitally enabling our business model to evolve into an Omnichannel experience for consumers.
    • Accountable for growing eCommerce sales, working closely with the Digital Marketing & Category teams leveraging the enhancement of the consumer and representative e-Commerce experience.
    • Play a key role in the adoption and Usage of our Digital tools

    Key Responsibilities

    • Work closely with cross functional teams, Digital marketing (brand activation) & Category to optimize our field, representative and consumer experience across all existing touchpoints to continue to drive digital social selling and grow e-commerce
    • Lead & manage entire Digital Tool portfolio (Tool launches & Maintenance releases)
    • Work in strong partnership with the Digital IT Leadership and global team in order to define the business technology solutions needed to drive the Digital Experience & e-Commerce agenda across touch points
    • Support the integration of our Digital tools into sales processes & ensure adoption & usage of the tools to generate & grow our e-Commerce sales through increased traffic, conversion, seamless consumer & Rep experience, & relevant product assortment
    • As a key Digital leader in the TMEA cluster, partner with marketing teams, sales and commercial transformation teams to meet our digital transformation needs across the various business segments and functions
    • Drive strategies that focus on representatives and consumers on the end-to-end digital journeys with digital product owners, UX and content owners
    • Be the thought leader for Digital transformation and bring expertise to the current and evolving digital evolution of our business model and e-Commerce vision.
    • Lead the development of ongoing end-to-end digital evolution with focus on digitizing the field, perfecting the Digital experience across touchpoints and optimizing eCommerce for representatives and consumers.
    • Identify future digital experience, e-Commerce and Digital transformation trends to build strategic competitive advantage
    • Ensure full testing and monitoring measures in place to optimise the journey, sales representative satisfaction and site functionality
    • Leverage the journeys to becoming a data led organization, that generates insights for digital optimisation and adoption

    We'd Love You To Have
    Work Experience

    • At least 10 years of relevant work experience in Direct Selling or direct to consumer environment
    • eCommerce experience minimum of 5 -10 years in a retail / consumer goods environment. Marketplace & Direct ECommerce Company experience highly preferred
    • Experience in Direct selling model & knowledge of Field FMP Education
    • University degree or NQF equivalent

    Skills & Competencies Required

    • Proven leadership of end to end eCommerce projects delivery
    • Proven track record of driving profitable e Commerce sales
    • Ability to provide expertise on current eCommerce industry best practices
    • Deep understanding of digital & online behaviour of Reps, consultants and consumers
    • Solid experience in the beauty or consumer goods sector
    • Extensive experience & knowledge of digital marketing & e Commerce
    • Proven transformation, change management & project management capabilities
    • Effective collaborator, communicator & influencer at all levels, including senior leadership
    • Ability to build close relationship with the Field
    • Team leadership, talent development & a proven performance driven leader
    • Successful in a fast paced, ever changing, often pressurised environment
    • Highly numerate, analytical and results focused
    • Understand the role of data science / analytics in optimizing end to end digital experience & e Commerce
    • Advanced in the use and understanding of tools & technologies essential for performance analysis, forecasting & conversion optimisation for Field
