    Job Purpose

    • To create a blue print for Sales and Client Experience in a functional environment, deliver on the Segment Client Value Proposition (CVP) and Value Delivery System (VDS) nationally, collaborate, deliver customer experience, share of wallet and market share in line with  Personal and Private Banking (PBB) strategic objectives.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Design, implement & drive execution of the divisional sales & service strategy and meet financial goals.
    • Design the relevant target methodology and communicate the divisional goals.
    • Forecast, achieve, manage & analyse performance targets.
    • Keep abreast of competitor activities & conduct market research, benchmark industry best practices & apply CVP.
    • Enhance the credibility & value-add of the function.
    • Provide sales leadership, intelligence & solutions.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance revenue streams, profitability and reduce financial risk.
    • Provide insights on functional, sales & financial management reporting and produce relevant reports.
    • Support & align Provincial General Managers/Executive Stakeholders, with segment businesses through effective matrix management and execute relevant projects.
    • Drive the Digital strategy aligned with EWCO roadmaps and agree on success measures.
    • Design and execute an eco-system acquisition strategy for the Division.
    • Monitor, build, maintain and influence relationships with internal & external stakeholders to meet client needs and expectations.
    • Ensure operational & strategic engagements & be a trusted advisor to stakeholders.
    • Design and execute an agile Client Experience (CE) strategy aligned to changing client behaviours.
    • Design and agree on the measurements of Client Experience within the Channel.
    • Build a Business Leadership Persona across clusters and segments and be a Nedbank Brand Ambassador.
    • Collaborate with Marketing to localise effective marketing strategies within the Division to ensure main banked client growth.
    • Monitor achievement of function goals, track daily performance and identify potential gaps/ improvement opportunities considering stakeholder feedback.
    • Review, align, and improve division sales policies, processes & procedures to all regulatory requirements.
    • Manage & embed world class risk practices.
    • Manage the recognition process for the business on Client Experience.
    • Deliver a world class service through others by driving a client centric culture.
    • Drive the people strategy and create a high performance culture aligned to Nedbank's vision and values.
    • Manage performance and ensure accountability through direct reports.
    • Participate in the recruitment and selection of senior staff.
    • Empower team to make decisions and recommend tailored solutions to business unit specific problems, through coaching and mentoring practices.
    • Monitor service levels, obtain stakeholder feedback & identify improvement opportunities.
    • Contribute in the development of recruitment criteria and training needs for all Sales roles.
    • Instill an agile and client centric culture through relevant competencies to deliver the divisional strategy.
    • Drive divisional Transformation Plans through consultation with HR.
    • Develop and implement a strategy to build a differentiated culture of improvement and innovation by analysing relevant surveys and information.
    • Drive corporate citizenship & participate in corporate citizenship initiatives.
    • Identify areas of resource inefficiencies & promote optimisation.
    • Support staff through employee wellbeing initiatives.
    • Embed a culture of functional flawless execution within the team.
    • Ensure change management is implemented for all initiatives within the Sales & Service function.

    Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

    • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
    • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

    Preferred Qualification

    • B.Comm degree in Business or Commerce ; FAIS qualification, Key Individual (KI).

    Minimum Experience Level

    • 10 years exp in financial services with elevated experience with banking
    • Material experience in financial services and associated consumer-facing industries, 5 years experience in sales functions ideally in banking, track record of delivering substantial requirements in performance, ideally in a sales function.
