Head - IS&T Performance, Risk and Compliance at City of Cape Town

Requirements

• Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification.
• 8 years' or more relevant experience
• Experience in risk management, compliance, audit coordination, operational performance management and/ or governance within a complex organizational environment

Key Performance Areas

• Lead and coordinate risk management activities across the IS&T Department.
• Conduct risk maturity assessments and oversee the maintenance of departmental risk registers.
• Coordinate risk workshops and facilitate risk awareness and training.
• Review and update business continuity plans.
• Ensure audit evidence is properly collected, reviewed, maintained and archived.
• Lead the co-ordination of internal and external IS&T audits
• Analyze audit findings and identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
• Lead the coordination and administration of the Department's annual operational performance and SDBIP scorecard processes.
• Coordinate the development of annual business plans and functional performance indicators.
• Monitor and coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual performance reporting.
• Maintain performance evidence repositories and update relevant performance management systems.
• Lead a team providing administrative support for the IS&T Digital Governance framework.
• Provide support to the Digital Steering Committee and Architecture Review Board.
• Lead administrative functions associated with Occupational Health and Safety
• Coordinate and chair IS&T HASCOM meetings and related processes
• Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration across organizational functions
