Job Description

• Reporting to the MD for Yuppiechef, you will research, develop and implement information management strategies that shape and lead our technology roadmap. 
• Key components include collaborating with different business units, identifying and resolving business barriers and providing strong leadership and management oversight of your internal team to ensure effective strategy delivery.

Qualifications

• University degree (NQF 8 equivalent in IT or related field)
• 10-15 years of experience with 5+ years in a senior / management role
• Proven experience in the retail sector—preferably in homeware, fashion, or consumer goods
• Successful track record of leading digital transformation, including launching or scaling e-commerce platforms
• Experience with omnichannel strategy, integrating online and in-store systems to support the business strategy
• Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional tech teams 
• Vendor and partner management experience
• Oversight of IT operations, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, security management, risk management and support services
• Strong financial management to ensure departmental budgets are monitored and controlled to deliver the strategy, while partnering with various departments and different projects
