    Head: Talent Acquisition

    What will you do?

    Santam HR has an exciting role for a Head: Talent Acquisition. The main functions will be to guide the Santam group in its process of ensuring we attract and acquire the right talent. A key focus will be on the external attraction of talent and development of internal talent. Build and optimise the Santam employer brand to position us as employer of choice. Ensure talent acquisition strategies are aligned. Drive Brand awareness and reputation amongst potential employees and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.  Build our social media presence and content aligned to the Santam values and EVP.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Build internal and external pipelines for all critical roles aligned to the transformation plan.
    Talent mapping for a full understanding of available talent in the industry.                                                                                                                                                                                                       
    Drive Process and System Efficiencies
    Optimise the Talent Acquisition model to ensure delivery                                                                                                                                                                                                                    
    Drive development and retention of designated employee groups across management levels.

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Knowledge in all relevant legislations (EE act, LRA, Skills development act, BCEA)

    • A Post graduate degree

    • Registered Psychometrist with HPCSA (advantage)

    • A minimum of 8 years’ experience as a seasoned Talent Acquisition professional

    • Skills:

    • Professionalism, excellent judgement, use of discretion and problem-solving abilities

    • Influencing and negotiation skills

    • Strong organisational and planning skills
