Health and Safety Officer (6 months FTC) at Zutari

Roles and responsibilities

• Demonstrate English language skills complimented by effective written and verbal and communication skills
• Compilation of risk assessments and health and safety management plans
• Incident investigation skills
• Health and Safety audits on construction sites
• Ability to influence staff in the context of all Health and Safety implementation actions and requirements
• Understanding the project focused nature of Zutari
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel; Outlook; Word and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in Teams, Share Point and One Drive
• Accurate interpretation and implementation of client requirements with regard to health and safety
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to prioritise work demands to optimize value to clients
• Attention to detail to produce work with a high level of accuracy
• Practice a high standard of confidentiality, ethics and integrity and maintain professional standards
• Valid drivers license

Minimum Requirements

• SACPCMP registration as H&S officer or H&S manager
• Experience: 5 years
• SAMTRAC / Nebosh certificate
• Tertiary qualification – added benefit
