The role requires a dynamic and passionate HR Partner for a complex geography of WECA & Southern Africa. The primary focus of the role will be in business partnership with the leaders in the territories, managing employee relations and effective delivery of global and regional HR projects.
Key Objectives of Position:
Drive the overall talent management agenda which includes succession planning, ensuring individual development plans are being executed and working with business leaders on the organizational planning on a quarterly basis
Implement the annual merit cycle and other compensation programs aligned to the guidelines of worldwide and EMEA compensation and benefits team
Ensure adherence to discipline and grievance processes across the business
Instil the Lenovo ways of working and the culture in everyday behaviours among employees and managers
Exemplify Lenovo culture and ways of working
Ensure data integrity and accuracy on the HR systems
Train line managers to manage and update team related data
Ensure proper workforce planning through headcount analysis and assessment of workforce productivity
Focus on managing a productive sales workforce through quarterly sales reviews, analysis of sales productivity and driving the action plan on a quarterly basis
Drive the employee engagement and wellness agenda through a quarterly plan and execution of various engagement and wellness activities across the Lenovo offices.
Drive compliance in each country of operation with the labour law and stay abreast of any changes in the regulations
Co-pilot with business leaders to support the business growth ambition
Advocate employees in employee relations cases
Drive Quarterly HR metrics across the region
Position Requirements:
Analytical skills
Experience as an HR generalist across several areas of HR (recruitment, compensation and benefits, talent management, HR planning & systems, Business partnership, Employee relations, HR metrics management)
In-dept knowledge and application of the labour laws across the responsible geographies
Self driven and result oriented
Independent
Team player
Effective in managing conflict
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in English language
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a HR Generalist
Experience with multi-national organizations in the Consumer Products / Technology sectors
