    HR & Office Administrator

    POSITION: HR & OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

    As a tech SME in a growth spurt, we are looking for an efficient and organised person with an attention to detail and effective communication skills to join our team in Menlyn, Pretoria as an HR and Office Administrator. You must be able to wear many hats and work quickly and accurately with various teams within the company.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Matric required
    • Relevant tertiary qualification in Office Administration, Human Resources and/or Recruitment will be an advantage.
    • Must be tech savvy; Excel and Google docs are REQUIRED.
    • Fluency in English is essential.
    • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
       

    SALARY

    • This is a medium-level position and salary will be based accordingly.

    RECRUITMENT:

    • Develop sustainable recruiting strategy based on our goals and needs.
    • Source candidates.
    • Search resume databases for the most fit candidates.
    • Communicate with relevant managers.
    • Determine the effectiveness and success of current recruiting plans and strategies.
    • Write and proofread job descriptions.
    • Build talent networks to find qualified active and passive candidates.
    • Evaluate which sources bring best candidates.
    • Plan and implement a Recruitment Marketing and Employer Branding strategy to attract high quality applicants.
    • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
    • Manage the interview process in conjunction with relevant manager.

    HUMAN RESOURCES:

    • Implement and perform a variety of HR administrative processes and tasks, including employee record-keeping.
    • Handle sensitive employee and company information and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
    • Administer and process information and data pertaining to the full life cycle human resource administration whilst ensuring accuracy at all times.
    • Handle telephonic and email HR-related queries and advise or escalate to relative person for resolution.
    • Carry out a wide range of HR data processing tasks as directed; advise other colleagues and provide guidance on processes when needed.
    • Maintain HR filing systems and ensure that all legal documentation is correct and completed in full.
    • Input payroll data to support the accurate and efficient delivery of payroll services.
    • Work with relevant outsourced parties to provide HR-related support to the business.
       

    ADMINISTRATION: 

    • Responsible for managing and sourcing office equipment and ensuring that new and current staff have the required resources to complete their tasks.
    • Maintain the company’s asset register.
    • Manage office refreshments sourcing and purchases.
    • Manage the office cleaner to ensure office is clean and presentable on a daily basis.
    • Assist management with proofreading documentation if and when required.
    • Assist management with administrative-related requests.
    • Ensure all invoices paid with cash or card by managers are tagged with the expense and kept safe for processing by the Finance team.
    • Assist management with arranging office functions and team building events for employees when and if required.
    • Asisst with the management of office-related projects, for example, moving office space.

    *Preference will be given to candidates based in Pretoria.
