Job Description

• Our client is seeking an experienced IBP Functional Analyst to support and enhance SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of IBP functionality, implementation, configuration, and support, with the ability to work closely with business owners, product owners, and technical teams to deliver effective supply chain planning solutions.
• The role requires experience across IBP modules, including Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Demand Planning, Supply Response, Inventory Optimisation, and Control Tower, as well as strong integration knowledge with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• 4+ years’ experience working with SAP IBP solutions.
• 3+ years’ experience in SAP IBP configuration and implementation with proven delivery outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP IBP functionality, configuration, customisation, and support.
• Experience working with IBP S&OP, Demand, Supply Response, Inventory, and Control Tower modules.
• Experience integrating SAP IBP with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience working within Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to conduct gap analysis, gather requirements, and create functional specifications for development teams.
• Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes and business requirements.
• Experience supporting end users and troubleshooting application-related issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
• SAP IBP certifications advantageous.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP IBP projects and support various IT initiatives.
• Work with business owners and product owners to define deliverables and business requirements.
• Conduct gap analysis and translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Configure and customise SAP IBP modules to meet business requirements.
• Support and maintain SAP IBP applications and enhancements.
• Configure and manage:
• Key figures, parameters, master data, time profiles, and planning profiles.
• ABC/XYZ segmentation and demand planning models.
• Statistical forecasting, promotions, sales history, and planning processes.
• New product introduction processes and data realignment.
• Supply planning, order-based planning, constrained planning models, and scenario planning.
• Supply optimisation, inventory optimisation, alerts, and collaborative planning processes.
• Support SAP IBP integration with SAP ECC/S4HANA environments.
• Communicate project updates, issues, risks, and concerns to stakeholders and management.
• Provide software support and assist users with system-related challenges.
