    Indexing Specialist

    What will you do?

    The role of an Indexing Specialist is to be the central point of entry for all work thus being a crucial service support function in ensuring effective service delivery. The Indexing Specialist pro-actively gathers, manages and controls the flow of work received and actions include the indexing, expediting, distribution and allocation of the work.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identifying and Verification of Emails/documentation received and assessment thereof
    • Accurate indexing of incoming documents within the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
    • Indexing all incoming documents with member number, fund code and document type to each document.
    • Splitting incoming faxes and e-mails into individual documents prior to indexing
    • A thorough understanding of the process flow of incoming and outgoing documents and how they are used in SC Corporate
    • A thorough knowledge of all functional areas within SC Corporate
    • A thorough understanding of the documents in use within SC Corporate
    • A thorough understanding of the business processes within SC Corporate
    • Investigate unresolved document items and re-index accordingly within the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
    • Report and log all system issues pertaining to workflow with IT department according to correct procedures

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Grade 12
    • 3 – 5 years retirement fund administration experience
    • Experience on workflow system

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Knowledge of different SEB functional areas will be advantageous
    • Proficiency in MS Office (word, excel, , outlook)

    Turnaround time
