Industrial Relations Manager

A global engineering maintenance company is seeking a company IR Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. The Incumbent would need to be open to extensive travel and have sound knowledge on the South African labour law and would be responsible for all site related industrial relations matters.

Responsibilities:
- LEAN Management
- Industrial Relations
- Disciplinary Procedures
- Reporting
- Employment Equity and Skills Development
- General Administration
Requirements:
- At least 7 Years’ experience in Site industrial relations or as a Employee Relations Manager
- Working knowledge of the South African labour legislation
- Working knowledge of the Metal & Engineering Industries Bargaining Council (MEIBC) conditions on employment
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Working knowledge of the Skills Development Act & Employment Equity Act
- Knowledge of the Medupi Partnership Agreement
