We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Intermediate Phase Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching students in grades 4-6, creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to create a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for students in grades 4-6
Assess student progress and provide feedback to help students improve
Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress and behavior
Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
Teaching certification or qualification
Previous experience teaching in the Intermediate Phase (grades 4-6)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices
Passion for working with students and helping them succeed
