    Internal Sales Support Assistant

    Internal Sales Assistant responsibilities:

    • Fulfil support functions to sales consultant and their duties.
    • Manage and interpret customer requirements – speaking with clients to understand, anticipate, and meet their needs both electronically and via telephonic communication.
    • Prepare Quotes, Sales Orders, and Requisitions. Follow up on quotes, sales orders, and backorder reports.
    • Maintain awareness of pertinent client information, payment performance; communicate all client information that may affect company decisions to appropriate departments as required.
    • Schedule regular calls to customers
    • Develop profitable and sustainable sales growth through engagement with current and potential customers within the assigned sales region.
    • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
    • Close and grow sales through professional communication and interaction with current and potential customers and provide exemplary customer service throughout the sales cycle.
    • Establish and maintain productive, long term professional relationships with decision-makers at customer organizations and create action plans for follow-up; Key accounts could require monthly / weekly follow-ups.
    • Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products and services effectively.
    • Maintain records of customer communications and contact information as required through our CRM system.

    Role requirements are:

    • At Minimum a Matric/NQF4 equivalent
    • Proven track record of at least 2-3 yrs. as an Internal Sales Assistant
    • Bi-lingual, English, and Afrikaans.
    • Experience with ERP systems to process quotes, orders, and invoices. (NetSuite prefered)
    • Computer literate with practical experience with Microsoft office Programs such as Excel, Work and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to work under pressure as it’s a fast-growing division.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Presentable and professional.
    • Time management skills with flexibility.
    • Multitasking and ability to work independently.
    • Driver's Licence advantageous.
