Inventory Controller - Vanderbijlpark at AkzoNobel

Key Accountabilities

• Manage both warehouses (On site & AMSAs paint store) including personel and develop a cohesive team.
• Do periodic stock checks of selected consignment items – compare physical stock to SAP
• Daily sales control – compare sales from Issue Notes & Sap system to AMSA analysis report
• Investigate Monthly sales differences
• Strictly manage FIFO for all stocks (RMs & Finished goods)
• Ensure timeous delivery to avoid plant stoppages
• Export management and Consignment inventory control (Engage and work with Planner and Scheduler on site)
• Consignment sales control – SAP versus Phoenix reports to balance
• Planning & management of packaging
• Planning & management of Internal intermediaries – Tinters and additives
• Daily/Weekly/monthly and annual stock takes as per ROCK requirements
• Stock balancing and reconciliation – Daily/Weekly & Monthly RMs & Finished goods.
• Audit paint consumed at AMSAs paint line – Balance V-use actions from AMSA
• Adherence to and comply with all company guidelines & procedures

Experience

• Diploma in Warehouse management/Relevant Logistics
• Tertiary qualification in warehousing logistics
• Minimum 3-5 Years of experience
• Understanding of business management principles
• Work accurately
• Be computer Literate
• Have SAP system experience
• Good communicator
• Good leadership skills
