    Sales Accounts Executive - George

    Key Accountabilities 

    • Revenue and margin according to budget (including accounts receivable and DSO) 
    • Accurate sales and projects forecasting, reporting and pipeline documentation
    • Customer retention, acquisition, and loss 
    • Direct contact with customers in the field, representing AkzoNobel in a professional manner to deliver customer satisfaction
    • Optimal Customer portfolio and pipeline management (growth & profitability)
    • Deliver on budget in full year on GIV and Volume
    • Demonstrate integrity – embrace AN company value and ensure behavior complies to AN code of conduct and HSE policies
    • Maintain and Improve pricing discipline to deliver financial targets
    • Implement effective regional processes and controls to support deliver of regional strategy
    • Control of pricing credits and GRN (0,5% of turnover)
    • Reporting and meeting of deadlines – Weekly Call Plan, Month end report and trade result presentations for monthly PDR
    • Accurate 6-month pipeline
    • Continual to grow other trade business and deliver and implement brick walling strategy for SPC and Top customers – 6 New accounts with turnover of 1,5 mil PA
    • Maintain and approve Customer call cycle by meeting the standard of 25 contact/calls per week
    • Forecast accuracy 95%
    • Develop, deliver, and implement sustainable customer plans for top 20

    Key Activities 

    • Manage the sales cycle related to a portfolio of customers, in a designated area, to execute sales plan (BTL spend vs Volume/value sales) 
    • Systematically screen customer base for new opportunities, generate leads and maintain pipeline
    • Identify, plan and develop new customers in line with business development and marketing plans and targets 
    • Provide appropriate and agreed levels of contact, service and support to ensure sales targets are met
    • Perform extensive customer needs analysis and site surveys, meeting with decision makers, understanding their goals, completing an account profile for each account, and identifying challenges
    • Monitor sales against agreed targets and budgets on a regular basis to ensure they are met and where necessary the need for remedial actions is identified, reported and implemented
    • Identifies, targets, and implements the approved sales strategies in the assigned marketplace. (Profitability and pricing structures)
    • Plans, executes, and reports on the sales activities in the assigned sales area. Feedback of market intelligence data and ideas to marketing and channel management
    • Identifies business opportunities, pinpoints, and tries to resolve existing and/or potential problems and requests support from the upper management or supporting functions
    • Educate customers and sales force of our customers on features, advantages and benefits of available product lines and services
    • Understand and assess customer’s needs, business objectives, strategies and build compelling customer value propositions representing our portfolio
    • Creates partnerships with customers to proactively grow the category, share of wallet
    • Drives efficient credit management
    • Take ownership of queries and complaints to ensure resolution on behalf of the customer within agreed deadlines.
    • Build solid relationships:
    • Externally – maintain and build relationships with customers, understand their needs, and implement strategies to benefit both parties.
    • Internally – build and maintain relationships with TSD, specifiers and regions.

    Requirements

    • Minimum Matric

    Inventory Controller - Vanderbijlpark

    Key Accountabilities

    • Manage both warehouses (On site & AMSAs paint store) including personel and develop a cohesive team.
    • Do periodic stock checks of selected consignment items – compare physical stock to SAP
    • Daily sales control – compare sales from Issue Notes & Sap system to AMSA analysis report
    • Investigate Monthly sales differences
    • Strictly manage FIFO for all stocks (RMs & Finished goods)
    • Ensure timeous delivery to avoid plant stoppages
    • Export management and Consignment inventory control (Engage and work with Planner and Scheduler on site)
    • Consignment sales control – SAP versus Phoenix reports to balance
    • Planning & management of packaging
    • Planning & management of Internal intermediaries – Tinters and additives
    • Daily/Weekly/monthly and annual stock takes as per ROCK requirements
    • Stock balancing and reconciliation – Daily/Weekly & Monthly RMs & Finished goods.
    • Audit paint consumed at AMSAs paint line – Balance V-use actions from AMSA
    • Adherence to and comply with all company guidelines & procedures

    Experience

    • Diploma in Warehouse management/Relevant Logistics
    • Tertiary qualification in warehousing logistics
    • Minimum 3-5 Years of experience
    • Understanding of business management principles
    • Work accurately
    • Be computer Literate
    • Have SAP system experience
    • Good communicator
    • Good leadership skills

    Maintenance Technician - Alberton

    Key Accountabilities

    • Exercise supervision on a full-time basis over the installation work which is not performed by you, whilst it is in progress;
    • Ensure that the work is done in a safe manner and in accordance with all safety standards and by-laws;
    • Inspect and test all completed work prior to making application for the connection of the electrical installation to the electrical supply, and
    • Complete or request a certificate of compliance if no exemption has been obtained from this requirement.
    • Ensure that inspections of electrical equipment in hazardous locations are performed as required in terms of Electrical Machinery Regulation 9.
    • Keep proper records of all inspections and tests carried out on all applicable electrical machinery including Electrical Certificates of Compliance for all Electrical Installations.
    • Inspects diagnoses and tests Equipment, performs Schedule maintenance repairs and performs preventative maintenance activities to keep the facility operating safely and efficiently plus avoiding down time.
    • Provides emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
    • Operate simple machines such as power saws, drills grinders to maintain or repair facility equipment.
    • Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
    • Reads and enterprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.
    • Takes part into root cause problem solving exercises.
    • Shares findings with maintenance planning and engineering on the maintenance job and provides opportunities to improve the maintenance job in the future.
    • Complies with all safety regulations and maintains a clean and orderly work place.
    • Execute work according to the standardized work procedures and continuously drive for improvement.
    • Report all health and safety concerns to their Manager including any accidents, damage to equipment, near-misses and hazards. (Re-Act cards & Guarding & interlocking
    • Take an active part in HSE initiatives, programmes and training and adhere to LSR; BBS PSM Principles. 
    • Complete work Permits (Hot work, General, working at heights, Confined spaces).
    • Not to modify/interfere with anything provided to safeguard their health and safety.
    • Compliance with all site rules and procedures.
    • Carry out tasks in a safe manner in accordance with training provided ( WI & SOP).
    • Adhere to Golden Safety Principle and all HSE requirements.
    • Ensure strict adherence to procedures and work instructions of the company.
    • Must be able to read Mechanical & Electrical Drawings.
    • Upkeep of administrative work as required for maintenance department.
    • Complete all mandatory HSE training. 
    • Provide professional assistance to the factory and upkeep of all equipment on site.

    Sales Administrator - Alberton

    Key Accountabilities

    • General assistance of all Administration and Paperwork from Regional Sales Managers and Reps
    • E-mail, typing of letters, faxing, copying, filing
    • Facilitation of customer order
    • Assist with CCF’s, GRN’s and PP16’s by generating collating and following up
    • Maintain internal documentation and take care of filing related to the sales process

    Experience

    • Matric with a Diploma in Office Administration supported by 2-3 years relevant work experience ideally gained in a Multi-National Company
    • Candidate should be proficient in the use of the various MS Office packages
    • Minimum 2 years relevant administrative experience will be beneficial
    • Knowledge of SAP is added advantage
    • A comprehensive understanding of Frontline Reception role is essential
    • Able to communicate in English & Afrikaans languages
    • Previous customer service experience will be beneficial
    • Previous CRM experience will be beneficial
