Inventory Planner at Kärcher South Africa

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

• Take charge of the inventory management for our Durban (DBN) location, ensuring accuracy at all times.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and bin verifications to maintain inventory integrity.
• Facilitate internal stock transfers and track their completion.
• Physically receive incoming stock and input the necessary information into our SAP system.
• Prepare orders for dispatch, carefully picking and packing items.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely stock replenishments.
• Proactively manage stock levels and initiate reordering as needed.
• Maintain existing processes and develop new ones to optimize inventory management.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in inventory control or similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical aptitude.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and SAP is preferred.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and willingness to take initiative.
