    IT Applications Technical Specialist

    Job Summary

    • The Technical Support Specialist will support the Diligent application of Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Audit systems. This role includes providing functional application support, driving business analysis initiatives, and managing enhancements and change requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide functional support for Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Audit applications.
    • Drive business analysis initiatives to enhance application functionalities.
    • Expand the scope and feasibility of solutions and develop supporting business cases.
    • Manage change requests, develop functional specifications, and oversee acceptance testing.
    • Identify and register risks within application functional streams.
    • Configure applications based on approved business requirements and best practices.
    • Facilitate workshops with business owners and stakeholders to define problems and identify business requirements.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring applications are updated with the latest security patches.
    • Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to maintain and enhance hardware and software systems.
    • Develop and deliver training materials and plans for new application functions.

    Key Performance Measures

    • Timely resolution of technical issues related to Governance, Risk, and Compliance applications.
    • Successful development, testing, and deployment of new features as needed.
    • Ensuring that the application is fully functional and meets end-user requirements.
    • Effective collaboration with stakeholders to deliver high-quality service.
    • Development and implementation of strategies to enhance application features, functionality, and usability.

    Minimum Qualifications Required

    • A 3-year degree in a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in application support, functional, and business analysis within implementation and/or support environments.
    • Recognized as a knowledge management expert with advanced data analysis skills and best practice knowledge.
