Job Description    

• Forvis Mazars is seeking a dedicated Manager in Analytics to join our IT Audit team. 
• The primary focus of this role will be overseeing and managing analytics projects to enhance audit quality and efficiency. Responsibilities include planning and executing analytics engagements, project management, and ensuring compliance with audit standards.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Lead the planning and preparation for analytics engagements, including scope, timelines, and budget.
• Design, develop, and implement data analytics solutions to support audit engagements.
• Oversee and organize analytics projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain data models and dashboards to provide insights into audit findings.
• Collaborate with audit teams to integrate data analytics into audit processes.
• Ensure effective communication with stakeholders throughout the audit process.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on data analytics tools and techniques.
• Document audit processes and methodologies used in analytics projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to bring innovative solutions to the audit process.

Minimum Requirements    

Management Responsibilities:

• Manage and review the work of junior team members
• Provide guidance and training to junior team members on data analytics and audit procedures
• Assist in the development and implementation of audit strategies and plans
• Administrative Responsibilities:
• Manage individual productivity, meet deadlines, and demonstrate clear communication
• Complete timesheets and expense reports accurately and on time
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
• Adhere to firm policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
• CA(SA) qualification highly preferred (but not essential)
• Knowledge of audit standards and regulatory requirements
• 4+ years of experience in IT audit/financial auditing
• Strong understanding of data analytics and visualization principles
• Understanding of data analytics tools such as Power BI, SQL, and other relevant software
• Team management
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and demonstrate sound judgment

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of audit standards and regulatory requirements
• Experience working in an auditing firm
• CA(SA)
