IT Network & Systems Administrator at SAOTA

JOB SUMMARY

• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network and systems Administrator with expertise in managing both on-premises and Azure cloud-based network environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network & server administration, Azure cloud services, and a passion for ensuring the reliability and security of our network infrastructure.

DUTIES/JOB ROLE BREAKDOWN

• Server administration and patch management
• Firewall, network, and endpoint security
• Manage and maintain the Exchange environment.
• Software deployment
• Device management including desktop, mobile devices, Android, IOS, and Windows
• Administer cloud infrastructure
• UPS management for failover power and remote shutdown
• Responsible for backups and disaster recovery
• Ensure infrastructure and server uptime are maintained in accordance with business requirements
• Develop and maintain global system standards
• Responsible for monitoring systems for integrity, alerts, and ensure remedial action is taken
• Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning
• Maintain Server room environmental and monitoring equipment

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• Relevant Microsoft Certification (advantageous)
• Mimecast (archiving)
