IT Project Manager – Applications and Software at Salt South Africa

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure overall success of the projects.
• Report progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders and management.
• Keep stakeholders informed of overall progress and governance.
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to mitigate implementation risk.
• Provide governance, direction, and oversight of schedule, budget, requirements, quality, risk, resources, and regulatory compliance.
• Interface with relevant departments and attend various meetings to guide and influence projects.
• Facilitate healthy working relations amongst internal and external project team members.
• Support Change Management activities and ensure teams are equipped for go-live activities.
• Provide solution guidelines and support software development activities.
• Establish project governance and ensure alignment with PMO project delivery requirements.

Qualifications And Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Higher degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Project Management qualification.
• 3 to 5 years of software engineering or software development experience.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management.
• Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in managing projects related to software/application development and implementation.
• Experience with SaaS solutions.
• Technical background and exposure to integration developments and landscapes.
• Programming experience using relevant languages.
