Role: SAP HANA Consultant/Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data models using the client’s data modeling strategy utilizing SAP HANA Modeling

• Facilitate modeling sessions and design walk-through reviews with development team members

• Collaborate with business/technology teams to ensure project requirements alignment of business solution definition & technical architecture

• Problem solving and troubleshooting complex problems and situations and ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance

• Communicate and articulate model designs to peers, customers and governance teams

• Demonstrate BI (Business Intelligence) Analytical skills in any datawarehouse/BI environment (e.g., SAP BW, SQL Server)

• Develop and maintain detailed documentation that captures design strategy across data models

Desirable Experience

• Strong experience in working with SQL databases and HANA objects of AMDP, Store Procedures and CDS views

• Experience in working with HANA Studio programming environment and ABAP programming

• Extensive hands on experience managing data from multiple data sources like SAP ECC, S/4 HANA and non-SAP systems

• Exposure to SAP HANA Modeling on SAP ERP Logistics modules of Sales & Distribution, Material Management and Purchasing

• Good understanding of SAP ERP table structures of Sales and Purchasing modules

• Exposure to BW data warehouse and at least one of the BI analytical tools of SAP or non-SAP

• Exposure and basic understanding of data provisioning tools like SLT, SRS

• Understanding to cloud-based technologies such as SAP Cloud or GCP desirable

• Knowledge of ML/AI tools and languages such as Python, R would be helpful

• High degree of ‘learning agility’ with the ability to readily consume and apply new information and concepts with developed analytical problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills to articulate and explain data modeling and design

• Strong communication and customer facing skills with ability to work with project teams like consultants, solution architects, and customers

• 2+ years experience managing a complex database environment including all aspects of SAP HANA and ABAP architecture.
