Junior Water Engineer/ Technologist at Zutari

Role responsibilities

• Perform complex engineering, designs, calculations, and analysis of water or sewage infrastructure and systems, in a team focused on delivering projects for the Australian and New Zealand markets.
• Assist with and perform the design of water and sewage infrastructure systems (specifically including pump stations, pipelines and treatment facilities), with key contributions on 3D models, technical drawings and details.
• Assist in producing other key deliverables on projects, such as technical reports, specifications, and procurement documentation.
• Be a team player that is willing to collaborate across multiple disciplines and international geographies.

• Ensure that all work complies with Zutari’s quality control procedures, and ensuring that required quality standards are maintained.

Minimum requirements

• BEng or BSc (Eng) in Civil Engineering or Agricultural Engineering, or a BTech in Civil Engineering.
• A minimum of 2 years’ post-graduate experience on civil engineering projects, with an emphasis on water or sewage infrastructre related work.

Advantageous competencies

• Construction related experience on civil engineering projects will be an advantage.
• Working knowledge or expertise in 3D engineering design software applicable to the envisaged role (especially Autodesk suite) will be an advantage.
