    Learning Design Intern

    The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Transferring educational content from existing content templates to revised content templates.
    • Working with subject Learning Designers to ensure the content has been transferred and translated appropriately.
    • Working with Learning Designers to reformat developed content according to the course style.
    • Performing auxiliary tasks, including, but not limited to briefing in graphics, and tracking the use of external assets.
    • Preparing developed content for upload by implementing proofing changes and altering file formats where necessary.
    • Working with subject Learning Designers and Learning Technologists to send, upload and quality assure developed content on the LMS (learning management system).
    • Conducting accessibility checks on content that has been developed.
    • Assist Learning Designers with content research.
    • Working with project management and various operational stakeholders to ensure that deadlines are adhered to and that project communication takes place in a timely and effective manner.

    Requirements
    Personal Skills & Attributes:

    • Knowledge of digital learning principles and practices
    • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and build collaborative work relationships
    • Comfortable with using technology, and familiarity with project management systems and Google Suite is beneficial
    • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
    • Ability to learn quickly and to work in a team environment
    • Good presentation skills
    • Demonstrated ability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritise work appropriately
    • Experience as a Learning Designer, Instructional Designer, or Curriculum Developer is beneficial
    • Teaching or training background, and familiarity with International GCSE curriculum is beneficial
    • An interest in pursuing a career in online education
    • Stable internet connection required
    • Having your own laptop would be an advantage but is not a requirement
