    Learning Services Sales Advisor (Accounting)

    This role provides front and backend sales support and services to Sage Learning Services. The sales advisor uses a variety of digital communication tools including telephone, email, social media and chat to assist and advise internal and external customer with the purchase and consumption of training and certification offerings on Sage University. Individuals in this role are strong advocates for the customers and have a passion for doing the right thing for Sage customers and partners. A strong multi-tasker with excellent organization skills and high energy, the sales advisor act on provided leads, generate leads, cold call, and utilize other techniques to sell according to a set quota.

    Key Responsibilities

    Key accountabilities and decision ownership: (8 or 10 max)

    • Answers inquiries related to training and certification products and services via various communication methods, most commonly phone, email, and social media.
    • Works through the sales cycle with customers with a high degree of closing success.
    • Provide partners/consultants and customers with answers to learning questions related to content and schedules as needed.
    • Provides administrative support to specialized training programs on the LMS as needed.
    • Develops, refines and documents processes for the administration of training sales offerings.
    • May spend up to 85% of time interacting with internal and external customers as volume demands.
    • Communicates customer requests in timely and concise manner to Learning Services Product Owners and Managers.

    Skills, Know-how And Experience

    Must have: (5 or 6 Max)

    • Associate's degree or equivalent business experience required
    • Proven multi-tasking and organizational skills
    • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills especially in communicating benefits and opportunities
    • Experience working with administrative systems in a cloud environment
    • Motivated and success minded

    Preferred: (2 to 4 Max)

    • Minimum two years’ providing or selling services
    • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) or related registration and planning software and order entry accounting systems is highly recommended
    • Knowledge of workflow of training department or events coordination
    • Attainment of one or more Sage certifications is a plus

    Technical / Professional Qualifications

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel in a business environment

    Key performance indicators: (3-5 Max)

    • Attainment of sales quota
    • Adherence to established customer satisfaction metrics
    • Tracking of leads generated and closed Direct reports: None
