Essential drafting experience in producing written legal opinions.
Understanding of legislation and case law relating to Constitutional and Administrative Law, Interpretation of Statutes and other areas of the South African law applicable to the public sector.
Understanding of Local Government legislation, policies and procedures.
Strong legal research capabilities.
Ability to analyse legal questions and to interpret legislation, policies and contractual frameworks to provide clear, structured and practical risk based legal advice.
Valid driver’s licence is recommended
