Line Driver Senior at Bayer

Role purpose

•  Operator (with special internal Qualification) with special individual defined tasks (e. g. solving production disturbances, Plant sections specialist)

Key responsibilities and tasks

•  Operates special machines/equipment, which involves setting up and adjusting regulate such factors as temperature, pressure, flow and reactions of materials.
•  Internal expert for special tasks Independent identification and solving of production disturbances
•  Handling of shift projects requiring field specific expertise
•  Operate process control system in plant Job training for new employees and apprentices related to expertise
•  Operate and control the unit manually/via control system
•  Run up and shut down of production facility, product changeover activities
•  Equipment cleaning and decontamination
•  Housekeeping of workplace
•  Routine analytics, taking of samples
•  Equipment maintenance/repairs in coordination with the technical team
•  Document and communicate work results (shift handover)
•  Support troubleshooting of process deviations in cooperation with Shift Supervisor

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

•  Qualified worker with respective education
•  Basic technical and chemical knowledge
•  Several years of experience in a production plant
•  Special internal on-the-job training
•  Excellent knowledge in plant processes
•  Ability to solve problems/ difficult situations
