Draft and review various legal documents, contracts, and agreements pertaining to the various business units of the company
Monitor and ensure compliance with various legal requirements, such as data protection and privacy laws, labour laws, and industry-specific regulations
Managing and conducting Litigation, Arbitration and Mediation matters
Ensure detailed policies, procedures, procedure manuals, systems and controls are robust and implemented within the legal department
Requirements:
Minimum B. Com LLB Degree
Admitted attorney or advocate of the High Court of South Africa
5 - 10 years post articles experience specializing in commercial / contract law and litigation
Understanding corporate governance and knowledge of global best practice / trends within the regulatory, compliance and governance framework
