    Logistics Functional Consultant

    Introduction

    • As a Logistics Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Fareye's logistics management solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their business processes and requirements, translating these into effective solutions using the Fareye platform. 
    • Your role will involve providing functional expertise, ensuring successful deployments, and offering ongoing support to optimize the use of Fareye solutions.

    Experience

    • 3+ years of experience in a Functional Consultant role, preferably with Logistics or Supply Chain Management Solutions.
    • 2+ years Agile experience (e.g. sprint planning, stand-up)
    • Proven experience with Fareye or similar Logistics Management Platforms.
    • Strong understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain Processes.
    • Experience in integrating Fareye with other Enterprise Systems (e.g., ERP, TMS)
    • Technical skills in Fareye's API or related technologies.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology. (advantageous)
    • Certified in TOGAF, Agile Methodologies (advantageous)
    • Certified in COBIT, Prince II (advantageous)
    • Certified in ITIL 3 (required)

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in requirement gathering and solution design.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    • Working with business product/activity owners in understanding business requirement and solution design
    • Documenting functional and technical specifications
    • Experience in preparation of business cases, business process
    • Driving change
    • Stakeholder management
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with the ability to understand complex business processes and design appropriate solutions
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Financial acumen
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
    • Excellent English language written and oral communication skills.
    • MS Office proficiency with advanced excel.
    • Google suite proficiency

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Fareye solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.
    • Leading workshops with business to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
    • Develop and document functional specifications for custom developments.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact during the implementation phase, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery of solutions.
    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting post-implementation to resolve any issues and optimize system performance.
    • Work collaboratively with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Provide input to develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and status reports.
    • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
    • Conduct functional testing of configured solutions to ensure they meet the specified requirements and perform optimally.
    • Identify and address any discrepancies or issues before the solution goes live.
    • Stay updated with the latest features and functionalities of Fareye and provide insights on how they can be leveraged to Pepkor Lifestyles operations.
    • Gather feedback and work with the product team to suggest improvements or new features.
