JOB OVERVIEW:

To ensure success as a Magento Developer, you should have excellent object-oriented programming knowledge, hold certifications for Java and Magento development, and be able to project manage. Ultimately, a high-level Magento Developer can build and maintain a user-friendly eCommerce platform that perfectly meets the needs of the client.

We are looking for a Senior Magento developer with strong backend skills, and experience building headless Magento implementations. You should have at least 8 years Magento experience (4 years in Magento 2). Your working knowledge should include building custom Magento modules, payment gateway integration, Akeneo integration, (bespoke) ERP integration and Magento OMS. 

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

• Be the Magento Subject matter expert in our E-commerce product team.
• Architect and Design Magento modules to satisfy business requirements
• Define and implement coding standards and best practices relevant to Magento
• Mentoring and skilling up junior Magento developers
• Implement unit tests to ensure adequate code coverage
• Load and stress testing.
• Investigate, debug and solve production incidents
• Keep Magento appropriately updated and patched

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Advanced knowledge of Magento, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, CSS, and MySQL
• Understanding of modern UI/UX trends.
• Knowledge of Google Tag Manager, SEO, Google Analytics, and A/B Testing.
• Strong attention to detail

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Magento Certification(s)

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 8 years Magento experience (4 years Magento 2)
• Experience with complete eCommerce lifecycle development.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform implementations
• Solid experience using GraphQL, JSON, XML, Node.js
