    Management Accountant Kia South Africa Pty Ltd - Parts Distribution Centre

    Brief Role Summary:

    • This role’s core function is to manage the end-to-end processes of the finance department with the Parts Department. The focus is to ensure efficiencies in the financial and operational management of the department to support the dealer network requirements and servicing. 
    • This is a Middle Management position focused on finance.

    Key Areas of Responsibility:

    Key Responsibilities Overview

    • Manage and prepare the financial information for the Parts Department
    • Ensure Internal Control Procedures are in place to manage efficiencies
    • Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reporting to the Parts management team and/or Exco
    • Preparation of budgets, forecasts and overall cost management to understand budget variances
    • Prepare and submit all required reports in accordance with established policies and timelines
    • Ad hoc analysis requests and duties from the Parts/Aftersales management teams
    • Support auditors for all year end close requirements

    Key Support Function

    • Manage the purchase order process and expedite to ensure timely fulfilment
    • Review and evaluate supplier credit applications
    • Prepare costing schedules for Air/Sea orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance
    • Prepare and submit all required reports in accordance with established policies and timelines
    • Provide administrative support across finance (Parts, Aftersales and Kia Importer) and all other functions to ensure smooth operations
    • Process, review and manage local and foreign supplier payments
    • Management of the targets and Parts rebate processes
    • Managing maintenance of site including staff (Cleaners, Gardner, Security)

    Qualifications and experience required:

    • Bachelor of Commerce or relevant equivalent degree
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in an Accounting or similar environment, of which at least 1 - 3 years was at a supervisory / team lead level of experience
    • Excel and Reporting Skills – Intermediate to Advanced
    • Proven track record in optimizing processes and achieving supply chain targets, including optimisation efficiencies
