Management Accountant at Robert Walters

• As a Management Accountant, your role will be pivotal in driving the financial success of our client's operations. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing monthly production reports, analysing volume and price variances, posting monthly allocation journals, and continually improving standard costing. Working closely with planning and production managers, you will ensure that BOMs/Work standards are accurate and complete. Your keen eye for detail will enable you to review key production KPIs and identify distressed areas. Additionally, you will manage product lists, ensuring new products are accurately created across the group with correct cost code allocation and uniform item numbers. Leveraging your technical skills, you will automate reporting through the use of analytic tools to speed up reporting.
• Prepare and review monthly production reports
• Analyse Volume and Price Variance with detailed commentary for business users
• Post monthly allocation journals
• Continually analyse and improve standard costing
• Work alongside the planning and production managers to ensure BOMs / Work standards are accurate and complete
• Review Key Production KPIs and identify distressed areas
• Manage product lists ensuring new products are accurately created across the group with correct cost code allocation and uniform item numbers
• Automate reporting through use of Analytic Tools to speed up reporting

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar business
