    Manager: Debt Review Relationship

    Purpose Statement

    • To build and retain good relationships with Debt Counsellors (DC) and PDAs to ensure a more detailed understanding of how each DC/PDA operates.
    • To highlight risks and compliance issues that needs to be addressed to maximize the debt review portfolio yield.
    • To influence client experience, retention, and rehabilitation within the debt review client journey.
    • To provide insights gained to Manager Process Recoveries and act as a BASA representative in Heads of Debt Review for the Bank.

    Experience

    Minimum: 

    • At least 5yrs experience in relationship management and debt review management within a banking environment.
    • Report writing (Executive level)
    • Report analysis 
    • Presentation to internal and external stakeholders

    Ideal:

    • Extensive debt review management in a constantly changing environment.
    • Experience across Contact Centre technology platforms
    • Experience with digital tools to enhance debt review strategies 
    • Experience with external debt review vendors’ systems

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

    Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management

    Knowledge

    • Knowledge and understanding of Commercial and business imperatives re debt review / financial service / credit / collections environment
    • People management and development practices
    • Call centre environments 
    • Call Centre Technology
    • Alternate work methods
    • Digital client engagement
    • Resource planning

    • NCA, NCR circulars and guidelines
