Senwes is looking for an experienced Manager: Employee Relations to provide oversight, expert legal guidance, and hands-on support to management and HR teams in all matters relating to labour law compliance, dispute resolution, union engagement, and workplace governance.
Providing oversight of the Group’s ER framework.
Ensuring compliance with labour legislation and regulatory requirements.
Managing disputes and representing the organisation at statutory bodies (e.g., CCMA).
Mitigating industrial action risks.
Empowering leaders and HR practitioners with expert ER knowledge and support.
Proactively assess legislative developments and recommend appropriate responses.
Serve as HR compliance officer for ER-related matters.
Workplace relationship management
Participate in wage negotiations and compilation of agreements.
Develop business strike contingency plans and assess industrial action risks.
Oversee and support employee forums and long-term engagement strategies.
Implement and maintain a comprehensive ER administration and reporting system.
Requirements
B-Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations.
At least 5 years’ experience in Industrial Relations Management.
Proven knowledge of multiple HR disciplines.
Knowledge of Bargaining Council policies and procedures.
Ability to manage complex negotiations and disputes.
