Manager Facility Management at Gamagara Local Municipality

Requirements:

• National Diploma/ B. degree in Facilities Management or equivalent Valid Driver’s License Code B; Proficiency in MS Office applications. minimum 3 Years Relevant Work Experience. Excellent organizational and administrative skills; Excellent analytic and problem-solving ability; High level of integrity, responsibility and confidentiality; Have ability to give attention to detail and be able to work under pressure; Report writing; Communication Skills; Ability to deal with conflict situations; Excellent Negotiation skills.

Duties:

• Assist with the identification and defining of the immediate-, short-, medium- and long-term objectives/ plans associated with municipal buildings, offices and facilities; Manage and oversee, in conjunction with Snr Manager, outcomes associated with utilization, productivity and performance of personnel within the municipal buildings, offices and facilities; Manage all assets of section; Implements procedures, systems and controls to regulate specific work and related applications associated with the functionality; Manage render properties and facilities management administrative processes in respect of all land and property transactions; Manage tasks/activities associated with the cleaning and maintenance services of all municipal buildings, offices and facilities; Coordinates specific administrative and reporting requirements associated with the key performance and result indicators of the functionality; Disseminates guidance and information on specific key performance areas and requirements associated with the section Report to the following institutions/ persons; Perform any other (legal) related duties as instructed by supervisor.
