Job Description

• To establish and maintain a robust accounting framework for risk hedging activities, aligned with IFRS and Group guidelines, through adequate product control; preparation, verification and reporting of daily and monthly profit and loss; balance sheet reconciliation and substantiation; valuation testing of Financial Instruments and trading inventory, to produce and validate financial statements to ensure the associated market risk is maintained within established appetite.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate Degree
• Field of Study: Finance and Accounting

Experience Required

• Product Control
• Finance & Value Management
• 3-5 years Experience in establishing and maintaining robust financial controls, preferably around trading desk activities.
• 3-4 years Experience in preparation or audit of financial statements or financial accounting/control in a financial services organization.
• Previous Standard Bank Experience ( Advantage )
• Finance Business Partner Experience
