    Manager, Relationship, Growth - Paarl, Robertson

    Job Description

    • To grow and retain a portfolio of high-value Growth Segment relationships through partnering for growth by proactively providing a high-end differentiated service and value-adding solutions.
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow and retain a portfolio of high-value Growth Segment clients, ensuring long-term profitability and client satisfaction.
    • Conduct thorough financial analyses and risk assessments to identify opportunities for business growth and mitigate potential risks within the entrepreneurial environment.
    • Provide expert advice and tailored financial solutions to meet the complex needs of high-value clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their business operations and industry-specific challenges.
    • Proactively manage client relationships through regular engagement, anticipating needs, and delivering high-end, differentiated services that exceed expectations.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement value-adding solutions that address clients' evolving financial requirements and support their business growth objectives.
    • Prepare and present comprehensive credit applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with organisational and regulatory standards.
    • Monitor and analyse portfolio performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
    • Stay abreast of industry developments, market trends, and regulatory changes that may impact clients' businesses, providing timely and relevant insights to support informed decision-making.
    • Cultivate and maintain a network of professional contacts within the business community to facilitate client introductions and identify new growth opportunities.
    • Contribute to the development and refinement of departmental strategies, policies, and best practices to enhance overall portfolio performance and client satisfaction.

    Qualifications

    Essential Qualifications:

    • Minimum NQF7 qualification in Business Commerce
    • FAIS competency certification

    Professional Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years in a client-facing sales role, preferably within the banking sector
    • Demonstrated expertise in managing portfolios within the entrepreneurial environment
    • Proven track record in understanding business operations, risk assessment, and financial requirements pertaining to the entrepreneur market
    • Prior experience as an Account Analyst or in a Relationship Management role, with responsibility for servicing business customers and preparing credit applications

    Preferred Experience:

    • Background in agricultural finance and operations
