Manager: Supply Chain Management at uMfolozi Local Municipality

SALARY:

• R599 564.52 P/A EXC BENEFITS PLUS 30% TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE

PERMANENT POSITION

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12  A relevant three-year tertiary qualification preferably in Supply Chain Management Processes and Logistics/Procurement or equivalent  Computer Literacy- MS Office  Code B Driving License 5-8 years relevant experience across Supply Chain Management processes including 2 years of supervisory experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identifies with and, aligns the Department key performance areas to support policy and procedural changes and/or objective setting  Directs and control the key performance indicators and outcome of personnel  implements and controls procedures and identifying revisions or introduction of policy prescripts associated with the key performance areas pertaining to Supply Chain Management  Manages applications with respects to establishing the requirement against available resources  Manages application associated with Acquisitioning and appointment process  manage the disputes/ conflicts relating to contracts of the municipality Disseminates functional information on the immediate, short ; and long term objectives and, current applications and constraints manage administrative and’ reporting requirements associated with the key performance and result indicator of the functionality.
