Manager: Transport at Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd

Purpose of the job:

• To perform technical inspections and audits to maintain operational fleet standard, aswell as to ensure roadworthiness and cleanliness of trucks and that deliveries are made on time.

Responsibilities:

• Route Plans
• Driver debriefing
• Reports: Service Level
• Service Plans / COF/ Licensing
• Fleet Management
• Supervise Staff
• Expense Tracking
• Attend Invocoms
• Compile all required reports within set deadlines

Other Requirements:

• 6-day position
• Required to work Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays as the business requires
• Required to be on 24/7 standby
• Ability to work in a Pressurised environment

Qualification Requirements    

• Trade qualification (Diesel Mechanic) or Technical exposure
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Experience Requirements    
• Atleast 3 years supervisory/managerial experience
• Experience in FMCG environment – added advantage
