    Marketing & Branding Lead (Low Carbon Energy Solutions) (108074)

    Short Description / Purpose of Job

    • Develop and grow the Sasol green hydrogen brand to a globally recognised major player in green hydrogen and its derivatives.
    • Provide marketing advice to market development teams on how best to develop and grow target markets.
    • Lead Marketing activities across the hydrogen business, with a view towards measurable growth in brand awareness, engagement and loyalty.
    • Lead Sasol Energy’s hydrogen business growth ambition through driving the transformation of the Hydrogen Value Proposition Marketing and Brand Strategy (partnerships, loyalty and marketing), aligned with market trends.
    • Oversee development of coherent corporate identity and brand assets by coordinating with marketing resources across the broader Sasol organisation.
    • Lead, formulate and oversee the implementation of Sasol’s Advertising and Branding activities for the hydrogen business.

    Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities

    • Formulate, implement and manage the hydrogen marketing plan, considering market dynamics, customer and product developments and priorities.
    • Lead the development and continuous improvement of the hydrogen marketing strategy including partnerships.
    • Provide input into and support the implementation of the hydrogen strategy.
    • Drive Advertising and Branding activities on behalf of the hydrogen business.
    • Agree budget for marketing and advertising activities and optimise service delivery within these agreed parameters for the hydrogen business.
    • Report on Corporate Marketing and Branding performance in the hydrogen business Provide direction to the project teams; take clear action on data driven insights and appropriately report to the leadership team.

    Formal Education

    • 4-year Degree /University Bachelor's Hons  degree in Business, Advertising and Marketing, Economics or Engineering.
    • A post-graduate qualification or MBA will be advantageous.

    Min Experience

    • 12+ relevant years in a related Marketing environment with managerial experience.
