    Marketing & Events Manager

    Job Description

    Outsourced CFO is looking for a Marketing & Events Manager who strategically oversees the company's marketing efforts, including brand development, communication, team management, and adapting strategies to meet organizational goals and growth stages while maximizing ROI.

    Job responsibilities will include, among other:

    Social Media;

    PPC on all platforms

    • Prepare and manage consultant and performance of ads aligned with strategy
    • Monthly reporting on the performance, striving for maximum marketing ROI
    • Monthly social media content calendar
    • Prepare and manage consultants for copy and designs
    • Schedule content plan
    • Monthly reporting
    • Growing OCFO social media audience and brand awareness

    Events;

    • Event Planning and Execution;
    • Develop an annual event plan and maintain the event website.
    • Set up and maintain event tools like Quicket, Eventable, and Mailchimp.
    • Ad hoc: Other OCFO department events and social media campaigns to support events

    Communication;

    Public Relations, Newsletter and Partnerships

    • Welcoming of new clients: contacting clients and arranging gift deliveries
    • Welcoming of new team members with gifts
    • Weekly report to the board
    • HR and recruitment support
    • Build, manage and grow a community of OCFO partner organizations who are able to contribute to our brand, market awareness and who generate leads. Manage all market communication about these partnerships, as well as communication with partners.
    • Manage and build out OCFO Public Relations and PR opportunities

    Team Contribution;

    Leadership meetings

    • Work as part of the department leaders to help design and review organization and divisional quarterly priorities and goals.
    • Work with leaderships development consultants through initiatives like Evolve etc to improve leadership capacity
    • Prepare and participate in HOD and Level 10 meetings

    Brand Consistency;

    OCFO Documentation

    • Create, maintain and improve the Marketing handbook, internal & external documents
    • Set OCFO annual marketing strategy and align with the Board
    • Video
    • Create video scripts, reach out to clients, partners and team members, and set dates
    • Reach out to video team, prep and film videos
    • Loading videos onto social media and distributing them, maximising reach and value of each video asset.
    • Event videos, edit recordings, cut videos and load onto social media

    OCFO Website;

    • Build out website, keywords, content, sub-landing pages, backlinks and domain authority
    • Schedule and add photos to the website, and keep on updating and adding to the site.
    • Support SEO strategy
    • Seek relevant topics and keywords, prepare content pieces and approve articles
    • Increase ranking keywords and backlinks to increase organic traffic and domain authority and inbound lead volume
    • Maintain and build Google My Business accounts for OCFO in SA and the US
    • Build and support other group sites like Founders Foundation and Founders Events

    Strategy & Budget;

    • Marketing (SA and US), communication, digital, content, and events strategy
    • Internal audit (measure according to KPI's)
    • Market research
    • Support company goals with marketing efforts
    • Divisional marketing support for each of the client-facing divisions
    • Prepare, manage and report on marketing divisional budget

    Branding and Merchandise;

    • Office merch: Oversee the planning, buying and handing out of stationary to OCFO staff
    • Team and client family expansion: Oversee the planning and sending baby grows and medicine bags
    • Year end gifts: Oversee the planning, buying and delivering of year end gifts to clients and partners

    The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 7 years of experience and hold a Marketing Honours degree (a Master of Arts degree would be beneficial).
