    Marketing Manager - Johannesburg

    Key Performance Areas (KPA’s)

    • Plan and execute the Centre Marketing Strategy, Promotional Plan & Brand Strategy
    • Implement and manage CI and brand guidelines across all relevant platforms
    • Manage social media, digital platforms and the Centre website (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) in line with Centre Marketing Strategy and Promotional Plan
    • Maintain/update with relevant information
    • Respond to and manage posts appropriately. Manage crisis communications as per Redefine policy
    • Execute, manage and activate all aspects of Promotions, Events and Exhibitions as per approved Centre Marketing Strategy (including management of suppliers, designers, exhibitors, etc.)
    • Execute external Customer communication as per Centre Marketing Strategy and Promotional

    Plan

    • Maintain and build customer database
    • Communicate to customer database (sms, email, social media)
    • Generate and distribute newsletters and content for all communications platforms

    Crisis communication to database

    • Plan & Execute Tenant relations (internal stakeholders)
    • Generate and maintain a Tenant electronic database as required for the marketing services
    • Undertake Tenant visits)
    • Welcome all new Tenants and supply with Centre information pack and house rules
    • Production and distribution of a monthly Tenant Newsletter and any other ad hoc marketing related Tenant Communication
    • Facilitation and preparation of monthly Tenant Meetings and presentations/showcasing 
    • Provide advice to the Top, Middle or Bottom 10 Tenants on marketing opportunities aligned to the Centre Marketing Strategy
    • Manage a Tenant Profile Form
    • Liaise with and manage appointed media and advertising agencies and suppliers
    • Prepare written briefs for creative requirements, media bookings
    • Brief agencies and suppliers according to Marketing strategy requirements
    • Monitoring sign-off processes,
    • Sourcing and distribution of elements,
    • Oversee and manage Customer Care Kiosk and staff

    Manage customer complaints & feedback

    • Market, Promote & manage Exhibitions & Court Space according to set targets within Centre guidelines and according to Centre’s brand positioning
    • Maximise Exhibition / Centre Court Sales by contacting potential non competitor exhibitors and Tenants (if applicable).
    • Ensure that exhibitors set up and take down exhibits timeously.
    • Ensure that exhibitors adhere to council and Owners’ rules, regulations, standards and procedures (as contained in Redefine Exhibitions Contract).
    • Collect exhibitor sales prior to the exhibition taking place.
    • Prepare the monthly Sales Report (format to be mutually agreed) for the Owners and administer the exhibition system and bank account.?
    • All discounted exhibitor rates or barter deals will be authorised by the Centre Manager.
    • A list of approved exhibitors will be forwarded to the General Manager, security and the Customer Care desk on a weekly basis.
    • Manage process in accordance with Redefine Exhibitions Contract
    • Implement centre-specific CSI and Sponsorship strategies and manage activity aligned to the Centre Marketing Strategy
    • Management and implementation of the annual Centre Marketing and promotions Budget
    • Management and implementation
    • Sourcing quotes, invoice process, loading of vendors etc
    • Monthly recon and reporting
    •   Monitor, review and report on all retail marketing activity and results on a monthly and quarterly basis.

     12) Other duties: 

    • Manage the sourcing, ordering, stock-keeping and distribution of Marketing Materials
    • (i.e. banners etc), Promotional Items, Gifts and Corporate Stationery
    • Establish and maintain a centralized archive / filing system of presentations, marketing materials and communications
    • The above duties are the main duties required to be successful in this role, however, the employee can be requested to perform other duties and responsibilities from time to time during his/her employment with the company, based on its operational requirements. The job title does not define or restrict the employment relationship and it is required within reason that the employee avail him-/herself to undertake other work at the request of the company.

    Qualification and Experience

    • Marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
    • 3 – 5 years marketing experience

    • Knowledge of Public Relations
    • Knowledge of Event Management
    • Knowledge of various promotional activities
    • Knowledge of the marketing mix
    • Knowledge of online media and social media
