Marketing Specialist 

Scoop is a Distributor of Networking hardware to the ICT industry with branches in Cape Town, Midrand and Durban. We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be creative with experience in design, content creation and will have a flair for writing. 

Day-to-day duties will include

• Internal Company Newsletter
• Arranging other internal celebrations
• Writing Team Bio’s published on website
• Taking photographs of the team
• Taking photographs of products
• Editing product photographs (Photoshop)
• Managing all Branded Clothing
• Assisting HR with creation of internal documents
• Writing Social Media Content
• Assisting with blog content
• Designing Social Media Content (Infographics, Styled Images)
• Designing email marketing (Photoshop)
• Designing Website Banners
• Designing Branded Merchandise
• Monitoring and Maintaining Google Ads and Google Analytics
• Assisting with Trade Show arrangement
• Assisting with Donation and Sponsorship Requests
• Proof reading of all company publications
• Research and content writing related to product range
• Auditing web content for uniformity and accuracy

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, experience and skills

• Marketing Qualification
• Minimum 2 Years Experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles
• Adobe Suite but at a minimum Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver & Illustrator
• Computer Literate / Open Office / MS Office
• Excellent command of English
• Strong Communication Skills
• Copywriting
• Social Media (LinkedIn, Facebook)
• CMS Experience (Magento)
• An understanding of SEO & Optimising Web Content
• Experience with Acquiring Backlinks through Outreach
• HTML
• Google Analytics
• Google Ads
• FTP/Filezilla
• Email Marketing
• Photography
