The Role:

Are you an insatiable reader? Are you constantly staying on top of current events? Do you have experience working with digital content? Meltwater is seeking a committed and detail-oriented individual with a passion for news and business information to fill this part-time contractor position. You would produce time-sensitive electronic Executive Newsletters daily using the monitoring and publishing tools provided by Meltwater, along with your superior knowledge of web-based and social media information search and retrieval.

What are Executive Newsletters?

Executive newsletters are Meltwater’s solution for providing clients with relevant news and business intelligence, curated and delivered daily by Meltwater’s Media Monitoring Specialists, working as part of the Professional Services team. Our service includes dependable, same-day delivery of news, filtered through a sophisticated human-engineered keyword process that ensures clients get only the stories they need, saving them both time and money. Candidates with a background in public relations, journalism, advertising, communications, library and information studies, and related fields are encouraged to apply.
This position will support Meltwater’s largest clients across the globe. While English is the primary language for many of our clients and deliverables, there is an opportunity to work with companies from across the globe. So additional language skills, both written and spoken is a plus.

The Successful Candidate Will Possess The Following Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and voracious reader
• Familiarity with the business news media landscape
• Experience working with digital content
• Excellent computer and online research skills, including social media and RSS feeds
• Superior written English communication skills
• Strong attention to detail & ability to read instructions and follow directions
• Multi-languages, written and spoken are preferred
• Self-direction to work from home & available to start work as early as 5am local time
• Access to a computer, Microsoft Word, Google Chrome, Slack, and internet connection
• Ability to provide at least a 12-month commitment
